M. C. Jacob (Kitex Group) passed away

Noted industrialist MC Jacob

Chairman and Managing Director of Kitex Group of Companies, M.C. Jacob has passed away at a private hospital here on Sunday. He was 78. M C Jacob has received the Kerala government’s first life time achievement award for 2009-10 for his contributions to the industrial sector in the state.

Anna Group is a multi product, multi crore success story that began its operation in 1968. It has evolved as a company specialized in  manufacturing aluminum vessels, appliances, pressure cookers in the brand name of Chakson and Anna; Later, it has diversified into various fields ranging from spices to textiles.
