Mobile users welcome number portability

The new decision of Telecom department to introduce portability of mobile numbers in four metro cities will not only help the customers to switch from one service provider to another but it will also ensure better service from the service provider. Appreciating the new policy of Telecom,mobile users said that this will allow them to switch service as and when they like. The new facility will allow the customers to retain the same number while switching over from one operator to another said officials. This facility is likely to be available to the mobile subscribers by October next year.
