State TV,sponsors Sri Lankan cricket

Colombo, Nov 13 : "Rupavahini,the state television of Sri Lanka will sponsor the country's cricket tournaments for the next five years,"said Samantha Algama,Sri Lanka Cricket (SLC) media manager.However the TV will not sponsor home team's series against India."Sri Lanka Rupavahini Corporation (SLRC) has come forward to sponsor the main tournaments of the SLC with Rs 50 million (USD 440,000) for five years," he said.
