National Human Rights Commission seeks explanation from Chief Secretary

• Asked to submit an action taken report within four weeks.

• The commission also directed Thrissur District Collector, Thrissur Police Commissioner and Guruvayur Municipality Commissioner to submit reports.

• NHRC intervened based on a complaint filed by Kerala-based RTI campaigner K. Govindan Nampoothiry
