Kerala to host AYUSH Conclave on Feb 15

The first International AYUSH Conclave of Kerala will be held on February 15th to 18th 2019 at Kanakakkunnu, Trivandrum. Around 3,000 delegates representing 50 countries are expected to attend. The four-day event will showcase the growth and scientific development of AYUSH (Ayurveda, Yoga, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy) and other traditional medicine systems of the country.

Governor P. Sathasivam will inaugurate the conclave on February 15. The major attractions of the event organised jointly by the Department of AYUSH, Kerala, and the National AYUSH Mission-Kerala are Seminars, an Arogya expo and international trade fair, a good food conclave, farmers’ meet, and an exhibition on medicinal herbs.

Arogya 2019 and expo will serve as a business platform for AYUSH systems and products. Workshops on developing a State policy for Ayurveda, Unani, Siddha, and Homoeopathy drugs, and international buyer-seller meet and a wellness travel bazaar aimed at promoting Kerala’s potential as a ‘wellness destination’ will also be held.
