Chelamattom Sreekrishna Temple: Exclusive photos
The Chelamattom Sree Krishna Temple is located on the banks of river Periyar, in between Perumbavoor and Kalady. The temple is famous for pitru tharpanam (bali tharpanam). This is done on New Moon days in months of Thulam, Kumbham, Edavam and Karkidakam. In this temple, Lord Maha Vishnu has been consecrated in three forms - Sree Krishna, Narasimha and Vamana.
