US company Netrix acquires two Kochi-based IT firms
In a major development in Kerala’s Information Technology sector, Chicago-based Netrix LLC has acquired two Kochi-based IT companies, Ideamine Technologies and Empressem Technologies. The acquisitions were made for undisclosed amount.
The acquisitions were announced by Netrix management in a media conference in Kochi on Monday.
Rob Dang, Partner and Managing Director, Netrix; Gregory Price, Partner and Director, Vertical Solutions; Stephen Dress, Director, Netrix; Jyothis Joseph, Founder and CEO of Ideamine Technologies and Vice President, Business Development-Empressem Technologies and Ajeesh Kumar, Vice President-Engineering, Empressem Technologies addressed the media conference.
Netrix, which started operation in 1989, has its presence in 11 metro areas in the US and employs more than 450 people. The company has expertise in network infrastructure, security systems services, unified communications, mobility, cloud and managed services, hardware and software development and services. The company has an office in Pune, which was acquired recently.
