Long wait 4 an ID card!

After a hiatus i got the original id card from our college. It was a long waiting 4 me coz 4 me the duration of course is one year and almost half is gone...so today is the most forgettable day in my life as the dream for an id card got realised. I was wondering whether it will take 6 months 4 getting an id card in a reputed institution..is it has such a procedure?like what we say' government work will go there way'.
