Kerala Government continues to host summits spending lakhs of rupees lavishly, when the state is facing financial crisis. As per the RTI documents, Norka Roots floated by Kerala Government to ensure the welfare of the Non Resident Keralites (NRKs), redress their grievances and safeguard rights, spent huge amount for conducting regional meet of the Loka Kerala Sabha in Dubai, United Arab Emirates; around Rs 25 Lakh was spent on the travel, food and other allowances.
