Kerala Floods: Entrepreneur Ken Singh donates USD 16,000

Canada-based leading entrepreneur cum philanthropist Ken Singh has joined the mission to rebuild Kerala. He has donated USD 16,000 to Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan's flood relief fund. The donation was made to the Vishnu Mandir to channelize the funds appropriately.

Guyana born Ken Singh is the Founder and President of Atlas International Freight Forwarding Inc. based in Toronto with branches in Calgary, Edmonton Montreal and Vancouver. 

“Contribution is to help those in urgent need in Kerala, being of service to humanity at such times of massive despair and destruction," said Ken Singh who is also a life member of the Indian Diaspora Council (IDC). He made this generous donation upon solicitation of Cliff Rajkumar, president of the Indian Diaspora Council International Canada. 

Ken Singh is also the President of Cargo Partners Network (CPN), a worldwide freight association which has presence in over 75 countries. He is a member of the Advisory Council, Faculty of Arts, York University, and is on the Humber College Advisory Council studying the feasibility of implementing a Degree Program in International Trade and Logistics.
