World Hindu Economic Forum 2013 @ Bangkok

World Hindu Economic Forum (WHEF) 2013 at Bangkok will be a platform for lot of Hindu businessmen across the world to connect, share and expand their business networks.

WHEF 2013 at Bangkok, Thailand, will be held on 10–11 August 2013 officials announced. Susheel Kumar Saraff, Chairman, WHEF Organising Committee said that the forum will provide a much needed platform for Hindu traders, bankers, technocrats, investors, industrialists, businessmen, professionals, economists and thinkers. 

WHEF 2013 will hold discussions on the immediate and long-term goals in the context of the needs of the global economy. "The forum is expected to attract some 500 delegates from more than 30 countries around the world, including ASEAN countries," Susheel said. 

The Hindu world, with its population exceeding one billion, and the 600 million people living in ASEAN countries represent enormous and mutually beneficial markets

The focus will be on the tremendous opportunities in ASEAN countries, particularly in the jewellery and software sectors.

The committee members of WHEF said that Bangkok is a very friendly place and that Thai people are extremely hospitable with international facilities especially in hosting global conferences.

Eminent speakers such as Padma Vibhushan – Former Chairman of Atomic Energy Commission of India, Dr. Anil Kokodkar – Former Chairman of Bhabha Atomic Research Centre, Shri Alfred Ford – Ford Motor USA, Prof. R Vaidyanathan – Prof. of Finance at Indian Institute of Management Bangalore, Dr. Gautam Sen – London School of Economics & Politics, Shri Subhash Thakrar – Chairman of London Chamber of Commerce & Industry and Shri Alpesh Patel – Oxford UK are expected to attend the function.
