Kakkathuruthu island, Union Tourism Ministry Tourism acts on my complaint: Media coverage

Had approached Union Tourism Ministry to take necessary steps to improve basic infrastructure facilities at Kakkathuruthu island, a popular tourist destination blessed with serene backwaters. The Ministry, considering my complaint, has directed Principal Secretary of Kerala Tourism department to take suitable action in this regard. 

Kakkathuruthu  located in Eramallor near Cherthala in Alappuzha district was rated by National Geographic channel as one of the best tourist destinations to watch sunset. From Mathrubhumi to Mangalam reported my efforts.
