An open letter to Indian Cricket Team skipper MS Dhoni

Dear Shri MS Dhoni,

I am K Govindan Nampoothiry, Journalist from Kochi, Kerala.

Your partiality to North Indian cricketers forced me to write this open letter. Rather than fielding talented players in this prestigious 2011 World Cup, your motivation only was to 'save' some players despite their poor form. Are you playing for nation or for some.....****
                                   Why sidelining me?
                         Kerala speedster S Sreesanth

Why you are avoiding Kerala Express Sreesanth?
Yes, I admit that S Sreesanth's bowling economy is not good for one-dayers. But, then why did you give chance to Ashish Nehra, who doesn't fit the bill as a bowler, batsmen and fielder? We have seen 'pathetic face' of Nehra many times in this World Cup.

Munaf Patel was not up to the mark in this tournament. Yusuf Pathan was a total failure. Same in the case of Suresh Raina also. What is the reason behind dropping Kerala's bowling sensation S Sreesanth. Please enlighten me.
                  Aggressive bowler : S Sreesanth

Bowed to inner politics : S Sreesanth

If you cite performance as the main criteria, what was your qualification to fit in the role of a batsman in Team India? I know, performance and other track records are useless. One has to play more games out of the pitch to show the face in One Day International and Test matches. This is shameful Indian skipper Mahendra Singh Dhoni. You should understand how a cricketer should behave from batting maestro Sachin Tendulkar.

Though I am not an ardent fan of cricket, I love the batting genius Sachin Tendulkar. Watching his master batting eases our professional as well as family pressures. That is simple and humble Sachin. I cannot expect you in the same way. But, show some kindness to Kerala's bowling sensation S Sreesanth. Let him grow...
